Finished with Poker!!

Thats it for me, it's over . . . have I busted my roll? Sick of the beats? Realise I'll just never make it? NOPE!!!

I have a SHARK next to my name on Shark Scope, for my Poker Stars account!! What more is there to achieve!? Fuck bracelets, million dollar prize pools, T.V fame!! It doesn't get much better than this!!! (The shark just looks so much cooler than the bright star thingy you can get if you're like a pro!!) . . .

. . . This is of course due to my totally consistant play and huge sample of games, ahem well about 110 games or so (hey I'm new to Stars) and has nothing to do with coming 1st of 2916 people for in a $10k Gtd for $2200!!! (See link in last entry for a blow by blow account!)

Anyway, my arms aching from slapping myself on the back.

RAISE THE RIVER!!! As I intimated in a previous entry, this tidy, friendly forum has managed to grab my undivided attention, after floating around various forums like a blind hobbo, I feel like I've found a home, (Well until they realise I'm a total fish, with penchant for sexual inuendo, really poor humour and ask me politely to leave!) as has happened in a certain other non poker forum!! So fucking what if kids go on that forum!! These days kids know more than most adults about such things as rimming, reverse cowgirl, running trains over birds!! As if It'll offend them!!

So RtR, has really helped focus my game. I'm pretty sure if it wasn't for Burnley Mick's railage and my posting hands and discussing various bits, I wouldn't have won the $10k Gtd tourney (Did I mention I have a thread on RtR detailing various hands leading to victory?! No oh!!)

Just in case you missed it.

On top of this we are approx halfway through the Syndicate games, I have joined the $5.50 8pm Stars and the $8.80 9pm Stars syndicates. I unfortunatley have not come close in these as yet. I think long term they will be profitable for all involved though and for the most part fun and involving. A couple of the lads have cashed.

Another exciting development starts Sunday, Championed by Amatay and Burnley Mik, is a four week league, where the top two at the end, win a package to the Avation Club Paris to play an event there, (If your a member or not spots are still avavilable!) 20% of any winnings in Paris by the two "Champions" will be divided between the other league players that participated in all four weeks. So it's still keeps a big interest for those that fall short of the top two spots. For me it's an opportunity to play with some top players at an affordable price. I know the crux of Poker is to find "weak" spot and games, but for me you also need to play with better to get better. So I am looking forward to donking about in this league and watching some better players "at it." I'm weak passive so they will know doubt be exploiting me left right n centre. GL me. ;o)

Right working at the mo fish . . . will get round to doing a June catch up post, apart from RtR, I have set myself some personal poker challenges to, which have started well. (Bet you're on the edge of your seats in anticipation!!)
