NEWCASTLE POKER FORUM TEAM EVENT!!!

. . . hear we come.

As part of Team Raise the River, I will be flying the flag in my second event of the year, the much anticipated NPF Team Event. A two day event over the May bank hols weekend. Our team is made up of various infamous bloggers and regulars all, of Raise the River forum.

Burnley Mik (c)

Snake Eyes

No Cash (aka No Shoes)

Hammerheid

Dream of Vegas (Your hero)

dD

Rubbish

Mr.Origami

1Tripz1

Yorkshire Pudding

Looking at the line up we may as well be given the trophy now IMO.

A few notable absentee's though in Ant66, Cogs, Krons (APAT Hero) and the globe trotting nit. Ant unfortunately is on his hols, Cogs and Amatay still haven't recovered from there nose bleeds caused by the last Newcastle event and Krons?? I'm not to sure why Krons is unable to attend. Although he will be missed, as will they all.

Plan of action can't be put any better than No Cashes latest post although he missed the "Sized" off the Super "" Models rolling out of bed comment. The Friday night warm up is scuppered for me, as I'm on keep the girlfriend sweet duty all day and night as recompense for my trip away. So I'll no doubt be far to enthusiastic for No Cash and Rubbish on the Saturday morning as they nurse hang overs from there Friday night sesh.

We're having our usual £10 last longer bet and all going to plan we should hopefully be hitting the Toon hard after shipping the event on the Sunday night. Looking at the Newcastle Poker Forum, it looks a very well put together event, with good live coverage and alot of thought and effort put in to make it a well structured, smooth running tourney. They have also managed to shoe horn 6 of there own teams in! Geordies are always good for a laugh so I'm expecting it to be a quality weekend!

I haven't been playing much live pokes recently on any front, so in fairness to the team I have dragged my sorry ass away from the online poker and played last Thursday night at the G Casino Blackpool £40+£5 triple chance. I came 14/68, played okish, to tight really, ran well early on got to the break with 13k + the 7k for my two unused 2nd/3rd chance markers. Once back into the action a few hands in I lost half my stack to a blind on blind cooler QQ v AA, built back up again then another hand folded to me in the SB with 66 I limp knowing BB (Aggro gobshite) would raise, he min pops it I ship having him well covered he snaps with QQ FML!!! Door cards a Q . . . so I end up nursing a short stack of around 10BB's from 26 people out pinching blinds with any two, positional open shoves any chance I got etc. I ended up moved to the last two tables with a couple of huge stacks on mine, who were calling with pretty much any two cards pre and the cards were hitting them in the face each and every time they were involved, cracking superior hands right n left. Recently I wrote about On-Line pokes being rigged, what I saw throughout this Thursday night proves ALL POKERS RIGGED!!! . . .

My last hand I finally picked up 1010 UTG shoved 20k 2k/4k seven handed, BB wakes up with AKo Flop AK3 turn J and I miss my 6 outs on the river. GG me, nice to be back playing live I have really missed it. I also realised, I personally need to mix up live and online otherwise I find I'm losing love for the game.

I might be heading up again tonight for the £20 + 1 re buy OR Add On. Or not, see how I feel after work today. Weathers turned and my hay fevers starting early FML! To top it I woke up sneezing me moobs off the other night and got up in the morning to find I'd burst a vessel in my left eye!! Hmmm

"Hello Newcastle ladies, how you doin . . ."

"Fuck off you red eye'd freak! AND take your hands off ma tits!!"

Buffalo Joes awaits us . . . Ahhh Newcastle the best night out ever . . .

Ends.

"Keeping the girlfriend sweet"? Are you a man or a mouse? Thank God No Cash has a pair or I'd be stuck on my own.
