Just had my idiot Chelski mate, boring me about how us Northern teams have an edge evey year due to a lack of Derbies! Whatever . . . Oh he's never watched them play live suprise suprise, why are such distant supporters always the loudest, have the most tunnel vision and clueless parroted opinions, based on what they have read in the tabloids!

Although in a week or so I hope we've secured a Europa spot and Chelski beat us at Anfield and it seals the title for them! Hate to feel that way, but can't bare scum winning it again! Especially with such a mediocre team, I think this season has shown Rudolfs true management ability (Not that it was ever in question) also circumstances with other teams have worked in Utd's favour (Ourselves blowing up, the faltering Gooners youth policy etc) . . . But in general I think this is on paper the weakest Utd team in a long time with some pretty average players, yet, they are pulling the results out of the bag. Sad but true!

Anyway another step in the right direction last night for us, we managed to score for a start, after destroying Fulham the week before but not managing to get the ball in the net, it was nice to see!Well we're at least battling for pride and a Europa place if nothing else last night, obv disappointed to be in this situ, but the fans and team were amazing last night, showing real passion. Unlike the West Ham team, talk about giving up the ghost! Zola tried to put a positive spin on it apparently post match! HOW!!! Your team had zero fight and were generally shocking, I never felt Zola was right for the West Ham post, to much to soon for him, he's just to nice a guy IMO, they needed a manager who would give the players a kick up the arse and be able to drag the best out of them. Must say the Hammers fans were a different gravy, never stopped singing all game, plenty of amusing banter and behind the team right to the end, "we're gonna win 4-3, we're gonna win 4-3" really tickled me with 5 mins left. Always a great bunch of supporters, with the right attitude.In the face of adversity, ultimatley you have to get behind your team.

@ Greg (Seo) following your comments in a previous post, I'm not deluded mate, I know exactly where we are at as a club. As I said it was a post to celebrate a quality performance and victory nothing more nothing less.

Also an oppurtunity to demonstrate how to hold a 3 - 0 lead at home in Europe. ;o)

I also have no delusions about our season either, we are well below par, as I said injuries and behind the scenes politics has really rocked us this season. I will however make the most of the positives and I'm sorry no matter what competion you are in it is an acheivement to win it. The calibre of teams we will have to overcome "if" we get to the final can't be denied. It's a prestigious trophy, obv the Champs league's a better trophy, but who remembers 2nd place? Apart from Utd fans, with there back to back finals!! We made two finals in 3 years? But you don't hear us harping on about how we were the better team in our 2nd final and were very unlucky . . . well 'til now lol.

To be fair with Torres out and West Ham result aside, I struggle to see where the goals are coming from on Thursday, unless Gerrard gets on his game. Which to be fair he looked good at Anfield last night. The team seemed to pull together last night, although obv West Ham were dire and didn't show any fight. To add to it, the team set off today with a gruelling coach/train/coach/flight trip to Madrid! Not ideal preperation.

Despite the dip in form, I'm behind my club, always will be and I'm behind Benitez and the players. David Moores has a lot to answer for IMO, if he had done his homework he would have been fully aware of the shocking track record Hicks and Gillett have with American sporting institutions, that have gone under in the following them buying them out, yet they buy the clubs/teams by getting loans secured against the club , so they have zero liability and in each and every case have come out personally in profit, our main problems lie with those greedy Yanks! £800 million!!! Get real you stupid bankrupting cunts. . .

The Poker Front. . .

A resounding "opps" in regards to bad decision I made last week. I haven't really kept up to date on here, basically I have shifted a wedge to Purple Lounge with a sweet rakeback deal, they seemed to not realise I had this and after 1300 raked hands accumulated (6k hands total I think?) at $10NL and $20NL and a nice $230 profit to show for it I got $0.72 rakeback! WTF . . . I don't have tracking software to evidence this, yet P.L. do have records to view your raked hands, so one day I may see whats owed? It knocked the wind out of my sails a bit, I did a withdrawl to use to sign up for another site and since then as described in a link on a previous post my doomswitch was jammed on!!!!! . . .

I decided I would take a break from cash last week as it was becoming painful, tedious and frustrating. You grind for three hours play well. Then two or three shocking beats put you in the red in like 2 or 3 minutes. I never seem to have spells of winning so much so quickly strangely!!!

. . . Anyway I decided to punish myself on the extreme 5 seaters and wow fun and shocking at the same time! I dropped $60 quite quickly playing the 10 Euro games. Then got to grips with them and finished the night $136 up. I then decided to have a bash on these for the last few days! WHY!!! I am going to trawl my HH tonight. The beats began and oh how they hurt, these pay top three, 10/15/25, so 3/5 of cashing, last night in 22 games I mangaged 1 win and four 3rds!! WTF, total BS, It is alot of push fold poker later on, but quite tactical, my early success was decimated and more.

It reminded me of playing in my Laddies days when @ cash tables, chips seemed to be pushed around from one player to another, with no real big winners (apart from the site itself) and the STT's seem to dish bad beats out to spead the games along. Oh hang on Purple lounge is on Microgaming and so is Ladbrokes!! I don't believe this is natural variance. Not to this extent. Has my really good rake back deal got me graded down on the alledged smaller sites mythical player grading system. i.e. New players have a boom switch to get them going and hooked and it disappears after a time etc. Players winning/withdrawing are graded down and the beats follow. As alleged by an ex Bulldog poker employee.

I got my money in good 80% last night . . .. . .not slight faves, crushing faves, sets being called by gut shots flopped str's called by overs that become sets then full boats by river etc. I kept playing and playing fine. Yet it just kept happening! 4th place 5th place etc. I'd be chip leader and in two big hands out, to button rags who shove my blind but miraculously hit there hands, not critisising the play just the way the cards see to land so perfectly every time! I'm sorry I left Laddies a couple of years ago for the same reason. It seems it hasn't changed. People will read this and think "Stop whining, variance, obv tilted etc." It simply wasn't the case. Due to it being extreme (Blinds go up every two hands) It really magnified how obviously engineered the beats are! 3 way all in's get common due to blinds when last three, 4 in 5 are won by the big stack!! Why, so then the little box says "PLAY ANOTHER" and you become addicted to the, surely I can't really run that bad again and 83o can't crack my over pair again!!!
