Post Easter weekend blues!

Just had a fantastic weekend away with the ball n chain! Really enjoyed it, Stayed in a gorgeous Hotel, full spa, pool, sauna, gym etc, four poster room, with jacuzzi bath that could fit three (If only!) I was a bit gutted, as I missed the annual summer season opener down the prom at Blackpool with the lads. I did make up for it the week before I guess. But after giving them a day to recover I hear they had a quality 18 hour session!!

I persuaded my girlfriend to watch Kick Ass on the Friday of our weekend away, after a little local sight seeing, which she was desperate not to watch as it "isn't her thing", it was the only film on at the flix after we had missed her preferred choice Alice in Wonderland 3D. She loved it and so did I, I had read it was good, but was suprised at just how good and the level of emotions and excitement it created. Basically it Kicked Ass . . . . . . EVERYONE SHOULD SEE THIS!!! Even if it isn't your cup o' tea. [Verdict: Kicks Ass!]

. . . . . To my point. On the Sunday, we again attemtped Alice in Wonderland 3D to find it was only in 2D which was a big disappointment, so she persuaded me to watch Bounty Hunter instead, Gerrard Butler and Jennifer "plays Rachel from Friends in every role" Aniston. I like both actors and have always had a thing for Ms Aniston. I have never walked out of a film, I lasted about 45 minutes and following my 3rd this is awful to my other half, we both got up and walked out, we weren't the first. 3 lads and a lass had walked out before us! There was no chemistry, a shocking story and the worst dialogue ever! Listening to Leonidas from 300, say in whiny way " I wouldn't feel sorry for you if you were a baby sea turtle crossing the baking hot sand miles from sea with loads of seagulls circling overhead!" . . . was painful, shocking AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! The only redeeming feature, Anistons over tanned legs and cleavage on display, almost popping out and bouncing regularly, let down by her pretty yet so obviously botoxed, plastic face. In the back of my mind I'm thinking your ten years to old for these types of roles now. It's a shame she's so one dimensional as an actress. [Verdict: Turkey, although I wouldn't mind a gobble off the ex Mrs Pitt!]

Overall great weekend and having that, "I had a great hols, for fucks sake back at work!!" feeling today!!!
