A Day Off with Poker, Cricket n Dexter

Took today off, so far it's been a good day, I got up at 6.30 went to the gym (WTF!!) Did an upper body session (Not Amatays morning upper body work out!) before 50 lengths of the pool, back before the missus went to work. Read a bit of a book I'm currently into, realised I wasn't getting back to sleep, fired up an hours session at the tarbs Kerching, if I could earn that much every hour I'd retire in a few years!! More of the Pokes later. Watched an Ep of Dexter whilst playing . . .

Got right back into DEXTER this last week, watched season four over again, setting me up nicely for season 5! Love the program, as in, I can't think of a single show better, EVER!! I had been waiting to watch season 5 for a while, but as I do when eating food, like to leave the best til last, so have been watching everything else out there atm, during which I have unearthed some real gems, Breaking Bad being the cream of the crop (you must see this program genius). Dexter shades them all though, perfect casting, tight intense plot, great writing, some obligatory sexy time and lots of murder! Perfick! It also has one of my all time favorite ladies in it! The first time I laid eyes on this girl I was in lust, she was the first girl to appear in Buffy the t.v. series and she's so hot, more recently appearing in Rambo, Boondock Saints II (class couple of films! Must watch people), Desperate Housewives as a hot sexy lesbian and in Dexter she's his other half . . . Julie Benz!!!! (Not obsessed honest . . . that's reserved for Jessica Alba!)

So today, amongst other things, I plan to crack an Old Jamaica ginger beer (got right into this recently) get stuck into season 5, although season 4 left me a little heart broken . . sniff and lets see what's happening with Dex on the streets of Miami, as I play more pokes, bliss!! Prior to all this going my bro's for n hour to watch some cricket (he's obsessed with the sport) and scan my passport and drivers licence at his, I need these to send to get my free PS3 I'm still waiting for since I got my new phone, total joke, they'll happily give me the phone BUT need proof of i.d. to get the free gift with it!! Wankers, apparently this was in the small print.

Before I go, quick recap since my last post on the poker front.

Off line: Managed to start winning at my Omaha Hi Lo home game! Thanks for this must go to Rubbish, who offered to send me a book on the subject! (Must have got lost in the post!) also played and failed to cash in 3 live tourneys, including Bolton team event, where I played for Raise the River, although came 40th for a few points and 2nd out the team, run bad city for the boys!!! Had a quality time as always, had the pleasure of sitting most of the day to the left of Mike Saban and after an unlucky hand in which I knocked Mike out, Mark Trett sat down FML, although had a good laugh with both and knew both previously from other events so was pretty com tbh espesh as I got more n more mullered, didn't sleep due to playing 1/2 cash til 10am and drove home Sunday pretty much wasted, (Not Big or Clever) with a few hundred quid for my efforts though. I may get round to a write up on one of these things, one day. Highlight of the weekend, managing not to get our heads kicked in when we hit the town, talk about the unfriendliest scary bastards in the world!! I'm from Doncaster originally to!!!

Online pokes: Now then as we know, your hero has been doing rather well at the $100nl Rush games, very well infact, this is without a HUD, tracking software or any formal training! (So clearly on an insanely hot streak) I ended up taking a break (literally) following me snapping my laptop in half trying to pick it up by the monitor end, gg lappie, wp DoV you dick! It'll be fixed in a week says the techsperts, 3 and half weeks later it returns, good as new, wankers! Sigh, so feeling a little rusty I start back the Rush with a little $10nl, which I crush obv . . . then step up to my usual $100nl and am back in the groove, yet regs are really looking me up and although I'm winning I do feel a little exposed. So last week I bit the bullet and attempted for the 3rd time to get to grips with HEM and it's HUD!! Hallelujah . . . Got it working some how. Someone really should do a complete Dummies guide to this bit of kit, it'd sell by the bucket load. Righty so 5 days into my trial today, just over 8200 hands played, pretty much one tarbing as I get used to it on zee Rush and as I have said on Raise the River , just for the blind steals and re-stealing alone, it will more than pay for the purchase of the whole program. I can't believe I left it this long to get a HUD. Apart from the very odd bad beat and coolers (all in two sessions it seemed) I am just winning and winning. I am running good obv and am awaiting my inevitable downswong. I am contemplating training videos more seriously to, but as I seem to have a winning game plan of sorts, I'm not sure it's a good Idea . . . meh I dunno???

Anyways, off to my bros then Dexter n the pokes this avo prior to some Brewskies and Braga bashing later. (Please God!!!) COME ON THE BOYS!!!! (Not in a Catholic priest kinda way)
